Sana Sells began as an IAEOU Project we called Sana’s Kitchen. Designed as an education program to help Pakistani women learn digital marketing and research skills to help early-stage ventures find new channels to market, IAEOU founder Lisa Canning and attorney, turned customer advocate, Sana Tariq Khan worked to create it. Training over 1000 women, through a free intensive online training program, successful graduates of the program were offered a 6-month paid structured internship working for paying clients who were early-stage ventures.
Due to the nature of startup’s, or those in hyper-growth mode, the ability to help them ramp up their connectivity and engagement at a low-cost, benefits not only the entrepreneur but offers opportunities to unskilled labor, especially to mothers in emerging economies who can build a skill, work from home online, and establish a full or part-time income and work history. Faced with the cost of hiring full-time sales and marketing professionals, growing businesses struggle to afford these full-time hires, but they can with our outsourced solution. For a fraction of the price of a full-time hire, we can provide the diverse array of skill sets they need to fuel their early-stage growth, increasing their odds of not only survival but being able to find investment.
Passionate about helping entrepreneurs and disenfranchised laborers grow their opportunities, skills and rise above themselves, Project Sana’s Kitchen in May of 2018 became a part of new startup Sana Sells. Retaining the social mission to help educate women in emerging economies gain independence and learn marketable skills while providing early-stage ventures with access to the robust sales and marketing support they need presents a global opportunity to help economies grow around the world.
